dusting off the cobwebs in the heartland

it's that time of year again. we'll be celebrating hermann's hole's third birthday next weekend. the torcano got poured a couple weeks ago and an epic time will be had by all. this year, everyone needs to have a waiver filled out. if you're under 18 and you don't have a parent or guardian with you, you need to get it notarized. for directions and more info, go to http://www.hermannshole.blogspot.com/

on another note, kingshighway and our neighbors to the south, trife street, are featured in the latest issue of sauce.

and as a closer, there's another kingshighway grom clinic this sunday. bring your chicks, bring your kids.

three types of people in the world

those who hear about what is happening
those who know what is happening
and then there are those who are helping to make it happen...

this is the newest addition to the skateboard community of st. louis. downwoods style. it's not tucked behind shitty graffiti brick walls. no police. no neighbors. no pad nannies. no little shitstain turd kids in your way. free! with the expectation of donating labor, concrete, or money for future sections.

coping should set within a few. prolly by the time you read this actually.
stoked that showmepools was able to contribute to something that is long overdue in our area.

support d.i.y.

for those of you that aren't in the know, there has been a hell of a lot of work going on for the past few weeks. the spring weather has been unpredictable to say the least. but with alot of determination, persistance and just being stronger than the elements or problems that arise, we ARE prevailing!

huge thanks to every single person that has lifted a finger. it definately takes a village. personally,I feel our skateboarding scene here in stl should be very thankful to have a few motivated roundwallers to contribute their time, energy, and money to a longoverdue project.

and most of all.. biggest thanks to "hermann" himself.
we couldn't be doing it without ya bud!
